Bio: Chris McGill
President Chris McGill served for 5 years in the U.S. Marine Corps before becoming an El Paso, Texas police officer in 1983. He became active with the El Paso Municipal Police Officers Association in 1987, and since that time has served as a Board Director, Secretary, and his current position of President.
His union credentials extend far beyond the local association level. He has been active in NCPSO/CWA Local 6911 (CLEAT), serving first as a Regional Director on the Executive Board and then his current position of Vice-President. He is also a regional Vice-President in NAPO.
Chris is a graduate of both the Harvard Trade Union program and Police Union Executive Leadership Program at Michigan State University. He has also attended the University of Maryland and University of Texas at El Paso.
