AZCOPS Continues Unprecedented Growth

AZCOPS Chief of Staff Tim Clark announced in May that in the past year Local 7077, AZCOPS, has organized 7 new units with the following numbers: ADOT Peace Officers: 34, Arizona Capitol Police Officers: 48, Casa Grande Police Supervisors: 14, Maricopa Police Officers: 28, Navajo County Probation Officers: 16, Stafford Police Officers: 10, Yavapai County Lieutenants: 8, for a total of 158 new members.  Additionally, there has been remarkable internal growth over the last year in the Arizona Correctional Peace Officers Association with more than 1,000 new members, and more than 100 members in both Maricopa Probation and Arizona Juvenile Corrections.
