AZCOPS Leader Re-instated

In a major rebuke to Sheriff Dupnik's action, the Pima County Merit Commission ordered Harvey's reinstatement with full back pay. Sheriff Dupnik refused to abide by the Commission's order, however, and appealed all the way through the Arizona legal system, with the Supreme Court ruling against him more than 4 years later. "This case is a major victory for Joe Harvey and AZCOPS," AZCOPS President Jim Parks said. "It shows that our organizations stands behind its members from the beginning to the end of a case."
