CWA Legislative Director Alfonso Pollard advises that he has just been informed by Representative Linda Sanchez's office after a year and a half of tireless work by CWA's National Coalition of Public Safety Officers (NCPSO), it's more than 23,000 officers and Legislative representatives in Arizona and California, NCPSO staff, each participant in our law enforcement coalition, and of course Representative Linda Sanchez and her staff led by Monica Fawzy, H.R. 3440, the Law Enforcement Officers Procedural Bill of Rights Act of 2007 was introduced in House of Representatives, 110th CONGRESS, 1st Session on August 3, 2007. The bi-partisan bill was introduced with 11 cosponsors. They include:
