Family, friends and co-workers are mourning the death of Erik Hite, a four-year veteran of the Tucson, Arizona Police Department.  While involved in a vehicle pursuit on June 1st, Erik suffered fatal injuries when a heavily armed suspect ambushed him.

 

Erik is survived by his wife, and two children.  The Tucson Police Officers Association is doing everything they can to make this very difficult time as comfortable as possible for the family, and requests that all union members keep the Hite family in their thoughts and prayers.
