NCPSO/CWA San Francisco National Conference a Huge Success

NCPSO/CWA conducted its 7th annual training and leadership conference on April 3rd and 4th in San Francisco and  it was deemed a great success by the public safety union leaders who attended this program.  Oregon attorney Mark Makler discussed labor law trends and FSLA, FMLA, and various major labor law court decisions.  He also talked about disciplinary cases and the common mistakes officers make that get them fired.  Washington, D.C. based political consultant Michael Shannon made a presentation on the ABC's of political action and profiled some of his most recent public campaigns on behalf of law enforcement organizations.
