NCPSO/CWA Works on Strategic Plans for Public Safety Locals

These planning meetings have included assessments of the Locals’ political, community, financial, and organizational assets. The groups that have or are going to do strategic planning assessments include the Seattle Police Officers Guild Local 7877, San Antonio Police Officers Association Local 6913, Austin EMS Association Local 6914, and West Virginia Troopers Association Local 2055. “These strategic planning assessments have been real eye-openers to all of our Locals,” NCPSO/CWA Director John Burpo said. “ Even our most sophisticated Locals are finding value in these meetings because there are always ways to improve how we do our business so that our Locals can best achieve their goals.”
