Nevada District Court Bailiffs Join NCPSO/CWA

John Doran, CWA District 9 Staff Representative, reports after organizing the Clark County Nevada District Court Bailiffs, it was determined by the Court these Law Enforcement Officers were exempt from being recognized for bargaining purposes under the Nevada State Statute which governs Collective Bargaining for Law Enforcement Officers. However, through the great work of George Glasper, Clark County Sheriffs/Bailiffs POA president and with the support of Chief Justice Kathy Hardcastle, the Bailiffs voted and were recognized for the purpose of bargaining a MOU so that these employees may receive protection through an Agreement that will spell out their wages and working conditions.
